What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and oversee all phases of airport terminal projects from planning and design to construction and commissioning.
  • Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure ontime and withinbudget project delivery.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Monitor project progress and quality, implementing necessary adjustments as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • To support the Development & Technical drive towards efficiency in the delivery of assigned tasks and projects
  • To support the project in administering contracts, including the transfer of risk and liability for design through the project lifecycle. A mature and flexible approach to design ownership will be essential to match the varied nature of projects across the airport.
  • Act as client representative and key communication point for all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure timely sharing of information and decision.
  • Identify and evaluate a range of possible solutions make a recommendation on the best solution and develop the chosen solution through the feasibility stage, in accordance with the Development Process.
  • Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Provides technical direction, making decisions and/or obtaining additional technical staff assistance as the situation warrants. This may include obtaining the services of consultants.
  • Provide solutions regarding any problem areas, staffing requirements, delays in production, scope changes, or other events which could affect project completion and/or profitability.
  • Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Architecture or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Chartered Engineer status is ideal.
  • PMP certification or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in Management projects. Has previous similar large scale PMO's projects experience.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards are a must.
  • GCC experience is preferred.
  • Must have experience at senior management/director level as well as having extensive experience in client facing roles.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Effective oral and written skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal / external correspondence; Ability to effectively present information to key stakeholders as required by the client.
  • Understanding of the construction management at risk alternative delivery process and the functions inherent to construction management of largescale projects.
  • Understanding of budget development and cost accounting.
  • Ability to manage and encourage a team of construction management professionals.
  • Ability to interface with all levels with project team, client, and others.
  • Knowledge of construction contract negotiation and administration
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to function in a multiorganizational environment by developing relationships that complies with the client's proactive, collaborative culture.
