Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the structural design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of design strategies for structural engineering projects.
  • Ensure that projects are designed in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project objectives and establish design criteria.
  • Review and analyze design proposals, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing any design or performance issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Professional engineering license (PE) is required.
  • Indepth knowledge of relevant design codes, standards, and software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS).
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a design team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Experience working on social infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
