F-15 Aircraft Structural Engineer

SUMMARY:

Location:
This position is in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advising, coordinating and resolving engineering related problems encountered at all levels of supply chain and maintenance installation.
  • Support efforts to manage vendors and subcontractors when required.
  • Ensure that the structure and part designed or in use is suitable and will physically be able to withstand specific pressures and forces when installed on aircraft.
  • Manage the RSAF F15 through the various phases of the Aircraft life cycle.
  • Support the F15 requirements in accordance with the respective to the RSAF Aircraft Structural Integrity Management Plan (ASIMP).
  • Review and analysis of incoming F15 Structural Life Assessment report and provide recommendations for RSAF Defense Force Configuration Role and Environment (CRE).
  • Assess the F15 Aircraft structural life and structural health of aircraft parts
  • Ensure parts will support the structural life assessment (SLA) and structural health monitoring (SHM) of the airframe
  • Collaborate with DAWSON, RSAF and U.S. Government counterpart with regards to aircraft parts structural integrity management, strategy, and project status.
  • Timely entering of aviation assets into tracking system
  • Perform other duties as assigned or related to the F15 Program

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSBA in Aviation Engineering or Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical or a related tertiary Engineering degree qualification satisfying the requirements for membership and teaming with the RSAF F15 Program requirements.
  • A good working knowledge of avionics engineering systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established aviation guidelines
  • General knowledge of aviation engineering methodology
  • Demonstrated 8+ years of experience in aircraft structural integrity or aircraft repairs including aircraft structures, design, analysis or engineering support to inservice aircraft operations.
  • Previous experience in developing engineering artefacts within a regulated aviation environment such as, the Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) environment or similar (CASA, FAA, EASA, etc.)
  • Welldeveloped communication skills to work collaboratively to a high standard within a multidisciplined engineering team.
  • Read and write at a level appropriate to the position.
  • Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work activities while providing team support.
  • Detailoriented, organized, and thorough
  • Ability to work under mínimal supervision.
