Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Utilities Bulk Power Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to be accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and with Jacobs and Mace delivery partners.

QIC is providing strategic direction for all partners in the three-way partnership with Jacobs and Mace on a city-wide basis.

Reports directly to the
Engineering Director .

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
  • Oversees the preparation of contract drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes. Regularly interfaces with other engineering disciplines as well as other departments.
  • Reviews contract drawings, specifications and other procurement materials that have been prepared by others; and provides comments on the results of the reviews.
  • Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.
  • Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
  • Provides technical guidance to CAD designer/drafters, designers and engineers working on the same project.
  • Leads, manages and coordinates the activities of all electrical engineering staff, and coordinates with the Infrastructure Design Manager
  • Serves as primary interface with the design consultants and construction contractor in performing design reviews or addressing constructionrelated issues related to the electrical systems.
  • Act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.
  • Maintains awareness of the project electrical specifications, drawings and design criteria
  • Provides regular reports on progress to the Infrastructure Design Manager; and needs for additional or specialty staffing.
  • Prepare the needed reports.
  • Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrated teamwork and management skills.
  • Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.
  • Ability to follow through & clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with seniorlevel management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, coworkers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
  • Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
  • Strong Contractor Management skills.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with minimum
    7 years' experience in construction projects, specifically management experience across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant PM/CM contracts.
  • Project Management Certified is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
