Responsibilities:

Ghafari Associates is looking for an QA/QC Manager to join the team. This person MUST be able to read/write/speak English.**
Responsibilities

  • Prepare the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions
  • Control and the distribution of all the companies quality documentation
  • Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the companies management
  • Responsible for Project Quality management requirement
  • Develop and maintain project quality plan.
  • Review and acceptance of the Contractor's Quality Plans
  • Prepare and conduct Contractor's Bi-Weekly QA/QC Meeting
  • Review Contractor's Project Quality Plan submittals
  • Conduct joint weekly site visits with the Contractor and submit reports regarding comments and observations.
  • Review of ITPs and necessary guidance for implementation at the site
  • Review ITPs and ensure all work and Material inspections are conducted per the approved ITP of respective Packages.
  • Ensure all Quality Assurance Tests are conducted as per specifications and standard requirements, and reports are submitted by the Contractors.
  • Conduct random site visits and submit to Contractor's Site Observation Report (SOR) or Non-Conformance Report (NCR)
  • Prepare QA/QC Performance Reports weekly, monthly, and annually, nonconformance trend analysis, remedial actions, etc.
, and submit to Employer To ensure Quality Audits are being conducted as per ISO 9001: 2015 standards and client's requirements.

  • Monitoring and closing of Quality defect notices and Non-Conformance reports of packages.
  • Liaise with Resident Engineers and team members with respect to Quality Control matters at the site.
  • Advice and guide the Consultant's team on key quality issues at the site and closeout

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
  • 10 to 15 years total experience, with the past 3 years in a similar role
  • Experience in a similar role in industrial, aviation, or complex building projects
  • Excellent communication skills
