QUALIFICATION:

  • A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Must have a hotel and fine dining experience.
  • Holds a degree or diploma in culinary arts from a reputable culinary
school or a similar qualification.

  • Must have strong culinary skills and proficiency in preparing a wide
range of Filipino dishes. Should be able to follow traditional recipes

and adapt to various cooking techniques.

  • Has the ability to contribute to menu development and bring
innovative ideas to the kitchen is valuable.

  • Strong attention to detail is required for achieving consistency in
dish presentation and quality.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Collaborate with the head chef or sous chef to create and plan the
menu for the Filipino cuisine section of the restaurant.

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Filipino dishes, including adobo,
sinigang, lechon, and other traditional and regional specialties. This

includes appetizers, main courses, and desserts.

  • Maintain high standards for food quality and presentation. Ensure
that dishes meet the restaurant's specifications and are served with

consistency.

  • Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the Filipino cuisine
section of the kitchen

  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure the efficient operation
of the entire kitchen.

  • Monitor and manage inventory for ingredients and supplies specific
to Filipino cuisine. Place orders as needed and report inventory

levels to the sous chef or head chef.

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food safety and
hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure

a sanitary kitchen environment.

  • Contribute to the development of new Filipino dishes and suggest
menu improvements or seasonal changes. Showcase creativity and

innovation in dish presentation and preparation.

  • Manage the timing of dish preparation to ensure that dishes are
ready for service in a timely manner. Coordinate with other kitchen

sections to ensure all components of a dish are ready at the same

time.

  • Address any issues or challenges that may arise during service, such
as unexpected shortages or changes to menu items
