Boeing is seeking a dynamic communications professional based operation to serve as a strategic communications partner for the region.

In this role, the successful applicant will develop communication plans for programs and reputation issues.

They will partner across the team within Middle East and the United States to ensure strategies and tactics reach target audiences, align with Boeing customers and partners, and positively impact business outcomes.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy an external/ internal communications strategy that supports Boeing's business priorities in Saudi Arabia.
  • Invest in building a network of local media contacts; manage daytoday media relations; proactively positioning The Boeing Company and Boeing's leadership on key enterprise topics; and support media relations during local events and exhibitions.
  • Support in managing the PR agency for the Middle East; attend workinprogress calls; and coordinate the creation of English and Arabic content relevant to Saudi Arabia and other countries in the Middle East region.
  • Support enterprise thought leadership, notably on safety, sustainability, innovation and industrial partnerships, and partner with Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Defense and Space (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) communications providing on the ground expertise and support when necessary.
  • Support Boeing Global Engagement communications in Saudi Arabia, including community outreach, university relations and volunteering opportunities. Lead communications around STEM and community partnerships.
  • Partner with the regional CMS focal for the management for the creation of national day, branding and collateral materials.
  • Direct employee communications to develop stronger engagement and cohesion, notably in Saudi Arabia where Boeing has the largest employee population in the region. Work closely with the local HRBP on employer branding and employee outreach. Identify internal stories that can be magnified on the regional and global BNN channels.
  • Develop English and Arabic content for Boeing's social media channels and work closely with colleagues on Boeing's digital and social media teams

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 7+ years of experience in Communications work
  • 5+ years of experience creating and implementing communications plans, strategies and tactics, especially focused on external audiences
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, spoken and written, is a must

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

An understanding of the aerospace and defense community in one or more of the countries in the region, as well as existing relationships with journalists and stakeholders within it

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education and typically 7 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
