The Operational Manager role at Radiometer involves overseeing and developing the customer services and supply chain teams to ensure a comprehensive approach in identifying, monitoring, managing, and controlling fulfillment and transportation for an efficient operation.

Located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this position will be on-site. At Radiometer, our vision is centered around enhancing global healthcare through reliable, rapid, and convenient patient diagnoses.

You will become a part of Radiometer Saudi's commercial team, managing our team under Beckman Coulter Saudi Arabia Customer Service and Logistics shared service in alignment with the commercial team. Your reporting line will be to the Radiometer Saudi General Manager and Radiometer's Global Supply Chain. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Establish strong relationships at all levels of the Customer Services and Supply Chain.
  • Develop, monitor, and enhance fulfillment planning and forecasting for products and services, as well as distribution plans; maintaining alignment with commercial sales & service teams.
  • Establish and oversee performance goals and objectives to surpass customer expectations by ensuring timely execution, accuracy, and quality.
  • Proactively identify and spearhead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools, collaborating with technology and commercial teams to provide feedback and foster enhancements.
  • Oversee and drive inventory turnover and cost optimization.

The essential criteria for this role are:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, presenting technical information clearly and succinctly across various communication settings and audiences.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain across Freight Forwarding, Local and National Warehousing, Distribution, Customs Compliance, Customer Service, and 3PL Management.
  • A comprehensive grasp of Logistics concepts and principles, along with knowledge of key business units such as Planning, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory.
  • Over 5 years of management experience, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.

Having previous experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

  • Process improvement, e.g., Lean.
  • Medical Device industry.
  • Oracle or similar ERP technical proficiency.
