A leading engineering consulting firm based in Medina, Saudi Arabia, specializing in providing innovative and sustainable design solutions for a wide range of building projects.

With a commitment to excellence, creativity, and client satisfaction, are seeking a talented and experienced Design Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team in Medina.

The Design Civil Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing design solutions for various building projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics.

This individual will also bring valuable consulting experience to provide expert guidance to their clients throughout the design process.

Responsibilities:

Design Development: Collaborate with architectural teams and other engineers to develop detailed civil engineering designs for building projects. Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

Structural Analysis: Conduct structural analysis and calculations to determine the integrity and stability of building designs. Make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal structural performance.

Site Investigations: Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather relevant data for the design process. Analyze site conditions and constraints to inform design decisions.

Materials Selection: Recommend suitable materials for building projects, considering factors such as durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

Consulting Expertise: Provide consulting services to clients during the design phase. Offer professional advice and solutions to address specific project requirements and challenges.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers, to coordinate and integrate civil design aspects seamlessly into the overall project.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy, precision, and compliance with design specifications.

Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization without compromising design integrity and safety.

Construction Support: Assist in reviewing construction drawings and providing technical support during the construction phase to address any design-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 12 years) in civil engineering design, with a specific focus on building projects.
  • Indepth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong proficiency in using design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Previous consulting experience, providing design expertise and advice to clients, will be highly advantageous.
  • Structural analysis skills and experience in designing reinforced concrete and steel structures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to delivering highquality designs that meet project objectives.
