Electrical Maintenance Engineer (FM)


Find your next role with Adecco We are currently recruiting for Electrical Maintenance Engineer for our client, a leading facility management company in Saudi Arabia.

The primary focus of the role will be to provide maintenance of high & low voltage lines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and control systems using hand /power tools.
  • Installation and checking of rotating machines such as engines, generators, motors, compressors, etc.
  • Troubleshooting; adjusting, repairing, or replacing malfunctioning components or assemblies.
  • Assemble components such as Controllers, Electrical controls, Switches, and junction boxes at facilities.
  • Check, repair, and Modify wire harnesses with good experience related to related to Troubleshooting.
  • Inspect, test, and measure completed work, using special devices & tools to verify conformance to standards or repair requirements.
  • Set up and operate software loaders and update the software.
  • Execution of all services for complete electromechanical services.
  • Responsible for maintenance and preventive maintenance for (Electrical, Programming, and Organizing jobs).
  • Control Panel and Junction Box Installation and termination and Instrument equipment calibration & installation.
  • Review of all technical designs including Low / Medium Voltage and submittals of shop drawings concerning the project's specifications and standards of practice.
  • Coordination with concerned specialty experts as necessary to ensure implementation of all electrical review comments.
  • Endorsement of all electrical deliverables executed by the contractors.
  • Provides inputs/comments on the drawings and documents related to other disciplines for the execution of electrical work. Provides technical proposals for the Contractors' queries & requests.
  • Reviews variation orders and input to resolve the technical issues raised by the Contractors.
  • Reviews Contractors' submittals for electrical materials/equipment as per requirements of technical specifications for onward submission to the Technical Manager and recommendations on the appropriateness of various proposals.
  • Attends testing, startup, and commissioning of all electrical equipment/systems arranged by the contractors in the presence of the suppliers.
  • Effective communication and coordination with other peers, all disciplines, and project management team.
  • Respond to all site requests following project procedures.
  • Supervision of all site work as per approved drawings and contract specifications.
  • Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Lightings, LV/MV Power Cables & Control Cables, Earthing systems & Cables Trays etc.
  • Supervision of installation of all instruments, indicators, transmitters and measuring devices (PHIT, LIT, LIT, FIT, level meters flow meters, etc.)
  • To ensure/monitor the working of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • 10 years' experience in maintenance of high & low voltage lines
