Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding operations with precision and attention to detail.
  • Interpret welding specifications, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding processes.
  • Set up and prepare welding equipment, including selecting electrodes or filler rods, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and adjusting settings.
  • Conduct weld inspections to ensure welds meet quality standards and welding codes.
  • Conduct postweld cleaning, grinding, and finishing operations as necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain welding equipment, supplies, and materials inventory.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing protective gear and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and designers, to troubleshoot and resolve any weldingrelated issues.
  • Keep accurate records of performed welds and maintain welding documentation.

Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a TIG Welder, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, including knowledge of various welding processes and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of welding specifications, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • Familiarity with different metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain highquality standards.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot weldingrelated issues.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and handeye coordination.
  • Knowledge of welding safety precautions and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
