Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, studying, and improving electrical systems for oil & gas facilities, utilities, and residences, ensuring optimal power reliability and efficiency.
RequirementsKey Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and modify electrical systems for oil & gas facilities, residential buildings, and utility services.
- Plan and oversee new facility electrical designs, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor and train junior electrical engineers, sharing expertise and promoting continuous learning.
- Develop and implement Energy Management and Efficiency Programs to enhance energy use and sustainability.
- Lead the development of Power Reliability Programs, monitoring and optimizing the performance of electrical systems.
- Review and approve engineering design packages, ensuring optimal material selection and cost reduction.
- Design and issue engineering packages for anode monitoring and Cathodic Protection (CP) systems.
- Perform electrical surveys, assessments, and audits, particularly concerning DC battery systems, CP systems, and solar installations.
- Identify and develop solutions for continuous improvement in electrical challenges.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Advanced degree in an electrical engineering discipline (preferred).
- Minimum of 14 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Valid driving license with the ability to undertake long-distance travel.
- Proficient in English with effective communication skills.
- Skilled in developing design packages and conducting electrical system studies.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC, IEEE standards, and best practices.
- Recommended to have IEEE membership.
- In-depth experience in designing, maintaining, and optimizing electrical systems, including but not limited to power overhead lines, transformers, generators, and more.
