Job Description

The role:

 is looking for a dynamic and proactive Implementation Engineer/Senior Engineer to be responsible for providing our merchants and business partners with a world-class technical support during implementation. The core purpose is to reduce as much friction as possible from the integration process in order to achieve a successful and efficient integration.

You will play a critical role in maintaining the trust of our customers, ensuring that any technical queries that arise during the implementation process are answered and escalated when required. Working directly with our customer's technical teams to resolve issues, you will also collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders across Technology and Business to contribute towards consolidating 's position as a leading online payment solutions provider in the region.

The ideal candidate must be customer-driven and tech-savvy, with proven problem-solving abilities and eager to join a dynamic, agile and fast-growing environment.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Provide technical support to merchants during their implementation of payment processing technology
  • Answer all merchants' integration related questions, including but not limited to configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and go live support
  • Manage incidents as related to the integration (investigation, troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, reporting, time tracking and analysis of incidents)
  • Partner internally with Business Support, Sales, Software and Web Development to resolve issues during customer trials, integrations, or post-implementation support
  • Interact with the Product teams to pinpoint improvement ideas
  • Advise Management on support issues which impact customer satisfaction and provide recommendations for appropriate actions
  • Ability to multitask with multiple projects and integrations of key customers
  • Maintain/update existing libraries/plugins used in integrations

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in English and Arabic communication skills complemented by a strong business acumen.
  • In-depth technical knowledge, particularly with a robust understanding of SaaS companies, web services, APIs, web applications, mobile apps, and IT infrastructure essential for effective coordination with internal product teams and various client platforms.
  • Able to read and analyze server and application logs and debug errors.
  • Fluent in at least one of the web server scripting languages and at least one framework
  • A proven track record of technical achievements, such as the development and completion of web or mobile applications.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar or technical role within an online payment gateway or a Saas company
  • Familiarity with local payment gateways and in-depth knowledge of local payment methods in the GCC region.
  • Prior customer service experience, ideally in a merchant-facing role.

Additional Skills:

  • Advanced data analytics skills, preferably with proficiency in sophisticated tools and demonstrated examples of analytical work.
  • Proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
  • Proficiency in PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Zend.
  • Experience in pre-sales activities.
  • Proficient in data analytics with the capability to analyze and provide insights that support both merchant and internal team decision-making processes.
