Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity processes and procedures to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
  • Develop and document security policies, standards, and guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop tailored security solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential security vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement security controls and measures to protect critical assets and information systems from cyber threats.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on security process improvement initiatives, driving continuous enhancements to the organization's security framework.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations for integrating new tools and techniques into existing processes.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and remediation of security incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on process design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including network security, encryption, access control, and incident response.
  • Experience designing and implementing security processes and procedures in complex IT environments.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
