Job Summary:

Working closely with facilities, BU HSE teams, and Operations teams within the SPARK Campus to carry out important HSE activities focusing on inspections, audits, training, reporting, monitoring, & coordination to ensure that the entire SPARK campus operations comply with Emerson's HSE Management System, ISO standards, OSHA guidelines, and local legal requirements.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Review and acknowledge key HSE requirements for Emerson's SPARK operations.
  • Act as the primary contact for all HSE-related matters at the SPARK facility.
  • Coordinate HSE activities for each BU & facilities' operations to meet ISO standards, Emerson's HSE MS, and legal requirements.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company values, programs, and safety regulations.
  • Identify safety hazards and suggest improvements to work processes and procedures.
  • Perform routine safety walk-downs across SPARK operations.
  • Maintain and enhance HSE documentation including policies, procedures, training records, and supervising information.
  • Lead incident investigations for any hazards, near-misses, or incidents at the SPARK Campus.
  • Develop and implement training plans for the campus.
  • Coordinate with partners within SPARK to gather monitoring information for HSE Manager review.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders on Health & Safety matters.
  • Liaise with BU HSE representatives for technical HSE inspections.
  • Conduct SPARK HSE inductions for new joiners, visitors, customers, and executives.
  • Conduct Legal Health & Safety assessments annually.
  • Work with facilities team to implement and update SOPs for operations.
  • Measure and monitor HSE performance against KPIs and report to the line manager regularly.
  • Contribute to development projects including waste management, IT site development, and CSR activities.

Who you are?

  • NEBOSH IGC or similar HSE qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or equivalent experience
  • Experience in EHS function within a large manufacturing organization

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  1. Membership of IOSH or any other international OHS body
  2. Environmental experience is a plus
  3. Familiarity with Velocity EHS Software.
