Parsons is now hiring a PMIS Specialist for our rapidly expanding portfolio of major projects and programs.

We need our PMIS Specialists to be experienced professionals, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments and who have good communication, analytical and leadership skills.

In this role you will develop and implement project management information systems, for major projects. You will be utilizing your technical expertise, and knowledge of business processes to complete complicated tasks independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Design/Develop and implement forms, workflow and reports in project / programs' PMIS (Project Management Information System) which is typically either Oracle Unfiier, PMWeb or Aconex, and provide comprehensive progress updates to the PARSONS PMIS Lead and/or Project Manager.
  • Identify opportunities for improved, particularly in terms of efficiency, workflows in respect of both Engineering and Business (incl. Project Management, Controls, etc) processes.
  • Work with Project / Program management to implement any corrective / improvement measures.
  • Support other managers in the definition and creation of their requirements, workflows, forms and reports;
  • Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines.
  • Ensure all design/developed and implemented in accordance with RC and contract requirements.
  • Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with the contract and any potential changes identified and recorded, documented and (if executed) notified to the client, and the necessary approvals sought, in advance.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or Construction Management, or Business related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Participated, throughout, in the design/development and/or implementation of a PMIS and has an understanding of its capabilities.
  • Good understanding of Engineering, Project Management and Business processes/workflows, forms and reports
