It has a clinical, education, research and leadership function with close collaboration with the Medical Director for the Hereditary Colorectal Tumor Registry in Saudi Arabia (HeCTR), our pathology and genetics departments and also with our IVF team in relation to our PGD (pre-gestational diagnosis) program.
The role entails patient and family education, counselling and advocacy; coordination of appointments and investigations for screening, treatment and follow-up; case finding, taking a family history including a genetic history and building the family tree; data base management, data collection and entry.
It is expected that the successful applicant will provide the experience and expertise necessary to establish the registry at a national level while assisting in building our profile at an international level.

Bachelorâs degree in Hospital Administration, and Six (6) years hospital experience required. Patient Education experience preferred. Bilingual (Arabic and English) â Spoken and written required. Have database experience. Have excellent communication skills and patient education experience. Department Information
The Colorectal Therapy Unit provides specialized holistic patient centered services for paediatrics and adults with stomas, enterocutaneous fistula, defaecatory disorders, and adults referred to the Section of Colorectal Surgery, throughout inpatient, outpatient, and home health care settings including nurse led clinics.
