-Coordination: Submission of Technical documents from Engineering Team/Vendors/Suppliers/Subcontractors and facilitating the approval processes with consultant/client. Coordinating the movements of materials through various departments (Procurement, Construction, QC, Finance, Accounts, and Stores) &Vendors, Suppliers, Sub-contractors.

-Project Scheduling: Preparing Baseline Program based on Contract Requirement and Scope of Work in Oracle Primavera P6, Resource & Cost loading in Baseline Program and communicate agreed Program with Project Team.

-Project Execution Plan: Preparing Project Execution Plan and Narrative report by using Oracle Primavera P6.

-Project Look Ahead: Preparing Two/ Four Weeks Look Ahead Schedules for construction team

-Histogram: Making of required resource/manpower histogram and leveling of manpower.

-Monitoring Progress (Engineering, Procurement, & Construction): Preparing Engineering, Procurement & Construction register in line with Baseline Program Requirements, Monitoring progress of submission & highlighting variance (if any) to project team and project manager. Prepare Material Delivery Tracking Schedules of Long lead and short lead items.

-Report: Regularly coordinate the collection of data and issue the Project Progress Reports (Daily/Weekly/ Monthly) as per project requirements.

-Progress Record: Maintain and record on regular basis of planned site progress v/s actual site progress.

-Weekly Logs: Developing and scrutinizing of Shop drawing logs, Material Approvals, Method Statement logs, and Material Procurement logs etc.

-Meeting: Attending kickoff meeting, co-ordination meeting & Bi-weekly Progress Review Meeting with client, consultant and other relevant Meetings whenever required. Expediting: Expediting the production of materials for overseas and local suppliers. Expediting the

dispatch/delivery and tracking with the logistics/customs clearance agencies especially for heavy equipment/static equipment (valves & auxiliaries)/rotating equipment etc.

-Progress Invoicing: Preparing, submitting and clearing progressive invoices to clients.

-Site Visit: Regular site visit and coordinate with construction team to ensure progress of works is acceptable.

-Procurement: Assist Procurement team in furnishing of purchase orders and change orders for the project

as required.

-Team Management: Manage project operations team, overseeing day to day engineering, procurement

and construction activities.

-Monthly Cash Flow: Preparing detailed cash flow for Project monitoring and forecast projections at site

office.

-Mitigation Plan: Crashing of program and developing recovery program in the event of delay/disruption

-Testing & Commissioning: Identifying the logic / sequence of commissioning, Developing detailed T&C

schedule in-line with the Baseline Program

-KPI: Project Productivity Report and Updated KPI with regards to time and cost.

-Cost Control: Controlling of direct Labor cost and highlighting any over consumption of budgeted hours

-Risk register: Maintaining and weekly updating of Project Risk register

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience as a planning Engineer.
  • Good expertise in Planning, Scheduling, control and Project Management and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MSproject planner software.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
