Overview:

We are seeking an Analyst to join the Capital Programs Division (CPD) in Capital Programs & Contracting Compliance Department within Controller's. Controller's is a part of the Finance business line in Saudi Company and reports to the Sr. Vice President of Finance, Strategy & Development.

The Capital Programs Division is responsible for providing controllership, financial advisory, and decision support for items related to the company's Capital Program and individual Expenditure Requests. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the project life, from Business Plan through Post Project Appraisal. CPD's core activities include reviewing projects proposed for the Capital Budget, to ensure validity of business case and compliance with Company policies. The review of projects proposed for funding, to ensure validity of business case and compliance with Company policies. Participating in Companies gated project review process while performing analysis post project completion, to ensure the project objectives were met, and identify opportunities for improvement, including lessons learned. And conducting special studies as and when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze and provide comments on new projects proposed for in the Business Plan.
  • Review, analyze and provide comments on capital projects proposed for funding actions.
  • Represent Controller's on various project gate reviews.
  • Represent Controller's review of capital projects prior to funding.
  • Review complex questions related to capital projects and prepare and present recommendations to Controller's management.
  • Provide policy and project funding guidance as required.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required.
  • Perform detailed analysis of post project performance and present to management.

This may include the option for them to attend the company's high quality private schools or to attend international schools in the local community.
  • Quality housing in company communities or a rental assistance allowance: We have four communities in the Eastern Province where we provide quality accommodation in pleasant surroundings. Alternatively, employees may obtain housing in the local communities outside of the company's communities, for which we provide a rental assistance allowance.
  • Free medical care: We provide medical care via our subsidiary medical network or contracted hospitals and clinics. These facilities are among the finest in the Middle East.

  • Voluntary Group Life and Accident Insurance: you may enroll in a voluntary program providing term life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage equal to 12, 18, 24 or 30 times your monthly base salary. Favorable group rates keep the premium low.
  • Short-term : In the event you are unable to work due to illness or injury, short-term income benefits are provided. The benefit is 30 days full pay and 60 days at three-quarters pay, in any one year period.
  • Death Benefit: The company pays an ex-gratia death benefit equal to 24 months base pay if death is from an industrial accident and 12 months base pay if death is non-industrial related.

Minimum Requirements:

As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or engineering, and a professional certification is desirable, for example, a CPA, ACCA, or a CFA. A graduate degree in business administration or a related field is desirable.

A minimum of ten years relevant experience is desirable in a variety of industries, which may include experiences in financial analysis, project evaluations, project controls, and process/change management, or strategy/management consulting. In addition, leadership skills and SAP or equivalent

ERP systems experiences, are highly desirable.

Other relevant qualities and experiences to be considered include:

Significant experience within one or more industries, which may allow you to be considered a subject matter expert in that industry.

Ability to establish personal credibility with various internal clients, and demonstrated excellent interpersonal and engagement skills.

A team player able to work across business lines to add value, and achieve team objectives.

An ability to plan and coordinate your own workload and meet deadlines.

You will be expected to demonstrate strategy, corporate finance, and accounting skills, including the ability to evaluate industry and individual company information.

Able to work with minimal supervision.

Possess demonstrated project management skills and ability to offer logical and innovative solutions to complex client issues.

A willingness to travel as required.
