ABOUT OUR GAS SERVICES BUSINESS


The Field Service team in RME is looking for an experienced MGT service commissioning engineer for supporting the current and growing RME fleet.

You will be Positioned in KSA, and the sites will primarily be located within RME region.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Communication or similar from a reputable college or university or diploma with 10 years Relevant experience in Siemens
  • At least 57 years' experience in Field Service of SGT500, SGT600, SGT700 & SGT800
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent command of English
  • Good team player and capable of training juniors
  • Willing to support new unit projects within the region as required
  • Knowledge of both Advant and PCS7 will be an added advantage
  • MGT Certification will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of FT125 control systems will be an added advantage
  • Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with mínimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks.
  • Effective problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations
  • Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
  • Proven integrity and high personal standards of behaviour.
  • Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite

What are my responsibilities?

  • Performs complex, specialized tasks on Siemens Medium GAS Turbine during new installation and Major Overhauling, Trouble Shooting & Upgrade.
  • Repair or work on modification projects in accordance with Siemens work procedures.
  • Completes documents of all installations, inspections, maintenance repair work and failures.
  • Performs complex service calls and interfaces with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution
  • Capable of developing detailed outage plans for Quality & Schedule.
  • Capable of executing and supervision of outages at MGT sites.
  • Performs assessment of equipment condition and applies repair or improvement measures based on Siemens standards
  • Catalogue of corrective measures
  • Participates in responding to semicomplex service calls.
  • Capable of Trouble shooting.
  • Participate & Drive QEHS.
  • Effective communication with PCC & Customer.
  • Capable of Writing quality Field service reports.
  • Capable of assessing High Risk activities like Heavy Lifting, Material handling, Chemical handling.
