We are looking for an _Associate Director - Business Generation_, to join our organization in the KSA region. This role will be based in Riyadh, KSA.


Reporting to, and working closely with, the Head of ME Business Generation, the post holder will take a lead role in driving business generation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


This role will drive business development and marketing strategy for the KSA business and champion effective "go to market" activities including pursuit planning, bidding, key client programme support and campaigns.

They will act at both a strategic and delivery level, contributing to business planning, implementing best practice and providing hands on support across the country.


Responsibilities;
Strategy and culture

  • Work with the KSA Country Manager and Cost centre leads to develop BG strategy that's aligned with Vision 2025 and the local business plan
  • Drive the 'go to market' and crossselling of products and services through developing marketing and crossselling plans.
  • Enable the geographical expansion of the business across the Kingdom through undertaking market analysis, evaluating routes to market and developing supporting tools and collateral.
  • Drive a clientcentric culture across all teams by leading a programme of business generation and marketing skill development, establishing tools and championing best practice.
Marketing and Communications

  • Raise Turner & Townsend's market profile by developing strategic campaigns and an annual marketing strategy
  • Contribute to global campaigns and initiatives internally and externally to celebrate Turner & Townsend's clients, projects and people.
  • Develop the brand positioning of the KSA hubs: using the global communications framework to develop market and sector specific messaging
  • Own flagship KSA marketing campaigns to drive increased client engagement and lead generation
  • Develop the Internal Communications strategy and ensure it supports and contributes to the core objectives of the business.
  • Manage the development and delivery of creative, effective and innovative engagement and internal communication plans with support from the regional internal communications person.
Bids and systems

  • Improve bid conversion through coaching and delivering industry leading bids and proposals
  • Provide timely and insightful bid conversion reports and analysis
Key Clients

  • Lead and maintain an effective key client programme, drawing on best practice.
  • Drive a culture of proactive key client engagement and pursuit planning to best position Turner & Townsend for future clients and opportunities.
Reporting

  • Participating and presenting at Boardlevel
    to report, highlight successes and contribute to strategic planning.
Line management

  • Managing the KSAbased BG team that is responsible for internal and external marketing, market research, bidding and key account management support

Skills and behaviours required

  • A firm grasp across the professional services sales cycle, with the ability to align business development and marketing activity to lead and revenue generation.
  • Experience of operating at leadership team level (Essential) and leading a marketing / business development function (Preferable).
  • A credible presence, comfortable to engage and influence at the most senior levels.
  • An ability to balance strategic thinking with tangible outcomes on the ground a thinker / doer.
  • A collaborative working style, able to effectively engage colleagues at all levels, and across multiple regions globally.
  • Resilient character that is agile and able to operate in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Arabic language skills are advantageous

Qualifications Qualifications**- Degree and/or accreditation in bid management, marketing or communication

  • 10 years+ experience across business development, marketing and bidding in a professional services environment, ideally within the built environment
  • Line management experience
