NATURE & SCOPE

The Operations Quality Lead is responsible for executing Air Products Qudra Quality Management System and coordinating customer feedback, complaints and addressing their needs.

Additionally, investigate nonconformities, monitor quality management implementation process, carrying out customer satisfaction surveys, and ensuring our products' quality aligns with APQ standards and meet customers' expectations.


  • The Operations Quality Lead will act as the site competent person for Quality, provide general Quality support and counsel by provide the guidance, expertise, and technical support to operations management and employee led quality committees in the identification, measurement and control of quality risks.
  • Additionally, the Operations Quality Lead will controls and coordinates the ISO Management System Certification process, ensures Business Performance improvement as well as Process Optimization. The role also represents the management and acts as a focal point in the management review meetings, and coordinates all internal/external audits.
    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following end results:

Quality Management

  • To oversees the document management compliance with the ISO certification requirements.
  • Assist stakeholders in developing quality objectives based corporate Quality Policy and support in the implementation process.
  • Monitor progress in the quality plan and assure all related initiatives are implemented on time.
  • Prepare and Participate in the quality and management review meetings and support stakeholders to implement quality management system accordingly.
  • Ensure internal audits conducted as per the APQ risk matrix and NC's/observation are implemented according to regional yearly plan.
  • To follow up on complaints and ensure proper close out for nonconformities or observations.
  • To coordinate with all stakeholders for any third parties' audits such as ISO certification.
  • Ensure that company third party accreditations are obtained and maintained.

Operation Quality

  • Coordinate the investigation of non conformance.
  • Support operation system improvement.
  • Ensure APQ quality management system is implemented across the operation function. As well as compliance with ISO requirements.
  • Follow up with O&M team to ensure proper close out of any nonconformities on time.
  • Ensure all operation, procedures, standards are maintained, reviewed, and updated when required.
  • Train the stake holders(Leaders) on ISO systems and their requirements.
  • Update and maintain calibration of measuring equipments in liasion with stake holders (maintenance leaders)
  • Support procurement/ evaluating the vendor in maintain the equipments.

Data Management

  • Develop the Key Performance Indicators which related to quality system.
  • To analyze quality data, and provide strategic objectives based on them.
  • To support the Data Quality Maintenance, including incoming material specification, product specification, in process control.

Customer Service

  • To reduce the Complaint and Non Conformance with proper resolution, and facilitate effective prevention plan with responsible teams.
  • Collaborate with other business units, and supply chain to develop the yearly quality plan in accordance with the customer feedback, surveys, and support sales team to secure customers.
  • Develop methods for measuring, monitoring and interpreting customer perception information to determine whether AP is meeting customer requirements.
  • To coordinate with stakeholders and preparefor the customer audits.
  • Cooperate with the operation team on the development of the MSA (Measurement System Analysis) to enhance our analytical management and meet customers' requirement.
  • Support for PCN (Process Change Notice).Coordinate with related department to complete the customer survey, questionnaires, and quarterly Customer feedback report.
  • Follow up with customer on any quality related issues.

Document Control

  • Ensure all company policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple.
  • Support document control of customer's spec and technical documents. Support the document control function to meet all customer technical specification.
