Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse areas of the hotel
  • Inspect plumbing systems and diagnose problems, such as leaks or clogs, and make necessary repairs or replacements
  • Install and maintain water heaters, boilers, and other plumbingrelated equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning and prevent future problems
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Respond to emergency plumbing calls in a timely manner and provide prompt, efficient service to guests and employees
  • Maintain accurate records of all plumbing work completed, including parts used, labor hours, and job details

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber, preferably in a hotel or commercial setting
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems and components, including pumps, valves, and water heaters
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members and guests
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
