Responsibilities:

  • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux and Unix servers, including Red Hat, SuSE, and AIX.
  • Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere infrastructure.
  • Perform patching and hardening of Linux and VMware environments.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of various compute technologies, including server virtualization, Linux, and automation.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Linux/Unix systems and VMware infrastructure.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance the overall system architecture.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Linux/Unix administration.
  • Proficiency in managing Red Hat, SuSE, and AIX servers.
  • Experience in VMware vSphere administration.
  • Knowledge of server virtualization, Linux, and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with patching and hardening procedures for Linux and VMware environments.
  • Certification in any Linux flavor is a plus.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
