Location:
Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Participate in project kick-off meetings to understand project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Assist in developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, identify resource requirements, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to electrical and instrumentation engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, schematics, and operating manuals.
  • Proficiency in creating project schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent. Familiarity with AutoCAD for preparing asbuilt drawings. Knowledge of Microsoft Word to create technical packages and operation & maintenance manuals.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in projects related to electrical engineering and instrumentation.

Mechanical experience will be an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&ID.
  • Should have handled a team of Technicians and helpers.
  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems, control systems, and instrumentation principles.
  • Proficiency in using industryspecific software and tools for electrical and instrumentation engineering.
  • Familiarity with valve and actuator installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Ability to conduct technical assessments and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues
  • Proficiency in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with electrical drawing packages is advantageous.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate, selfconfident, and open to continuous learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet schedules within budget.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Good team player with the ability to work with and develop a team spirit among personnel from diverse backgrounds.
  • Basic understanding of valves and actuators.
  • Handson experience with industrial electrical and automation systems.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Must possess a transferrable Iqama and be available for immediate joining or within 15 days.
