Job Description ROLE PURPOS**:

Assystem is now seeking an experienced surveyor to join the Geoscience team in the KSA. This is an opportunity to work on drone and land based topographical surveys. implementation of the photogrammetry and Lidar techniques, levelling studies, processing the data and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Managing subcontractors to ensure accurate collection of the topographical data and other relevant information from the field, organize and upload them to an interpretation workstation.
  • Managing the Client requests and attending to meeting with the Client.
  • Performing QA/QC on data coming from the field. If necessary, data processing is expected to be applied to the drone and land based topographical data.
  • Planning and organizing field work for any topographical operation.
  • Ensuring high quality flow of the data from the field and desktop studies (processing stage)
  • Performing QA/QC on data coming from the field
  • Performing QA/QC on the processed data including BM measurement, any type of topographical survey data etc.
  • Processing of the land and drone based topographical data, benchmark measurements etc.
  • Preparation of BM, Drone Quality and/or Survey reports.
  • Supervising and training more engineers related with the survey works.
  • Supporting tender team during the new bids.

Qualifications Qualifications**:

A degree in Survey Department, Geomatics or relevant

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 + years of industry experience involving the implementing of marine land and drone based topographical surveys including the preparation of reports and the presentation of results and conclusions.

SKILLS:

  • Experienced user of pix4D or similar software.
  • General computer literacy, including use of Python, spreadsheets, databases and word processing software.
  • A good communicator (both verbally and written) who is able to deliver results for Client.
