As a PMCS Engineer (Project Coordinator), you will be responsible for providing technical support to teams operating in Jeddah and Makkah, ensuring efficient coordination between STC (Saudi Telecommunications Company), subcontractors, permission followers and executive teams on-site.

Your primary role will involve utilizing the PMCS (Project Management and Control System) to manage work orders, track project progress, and update site status at various stages.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication, adherence to procedures, and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

Act as a central point of contact for STC follow up teams and executive teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.


Technical Support:

Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams on-site, ensuring optimal project implementation and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.


PMCS Management:

Utilize the PMCS to create, track, and manage work orders, ensuring accurate and timely updates on project status and milestones.


Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders, to facilitate effective decision-making and ensure compliance with established procedures.


Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure adherence to project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.

Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables.

Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and executive teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and expectations.

Continuous Improvement:

Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements, efficiency improvements, and cost optimization, and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in a relevant field such as Telecommunications or Civil Engineering).
  • Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably within the telecommunications or construction industry.
  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficiency in using project management and control systems, such as PMCS, to manage work orders, track progress, and generate reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and resultsoriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
