ROLE
The Senior Quality Manager will be responsible for corporate QA/QC management, progress, and coordination for multiple projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet with the client and establish requirements and objectives for QA/QC management to be implemented.
Review and comment on any existing client QA/QC procedures and standard documents and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
Roll out of the Quality Check Procedure across all departments/areas of the business.
Establish and implement QA/QC procedures and protocols throughout client projects providing best practice forms and templates, as necessary.
Assist / advise the project teams on the implementation and adherence to agreed and establishes QA/QC procedures.
Conduct quality audits on contractors and report findings to the client. Implement follow-up procedures with contractors to track close-out of quality non-conformance.

Establish, review; upgrade and implementation of the Quality Management System integrated with program control, operations, and commercial procedures of the Program.

Develop, review, and transmit regular status reports.
Coordination with other functional managers to ensure correct implementation of quality management procedures and requirements.
Review and monitor appropriateness of Quality Management System. Recommend improvements and if approved document and implement changes.
Review Consultant and Contractor Quality Management Plans for contractual compliance and compatibility with Program Quality Management System.

Review the knowledge, skills, and competencies of Program Team in relation to the Program Quality Management System and develop and implement appropriate training plans and professional development activities.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
Minimum 10 years' experience in construction industry, previous experience working with a Supervision Consultant, PMO or PMC advantageous.
Proactive and ability to work on your own initiative.
Have excellent influencing and persuasive skills.
Auditing experience, including preparation for audits, audit reporting and follow up of any identified corrective actions for close out.
Comfortable working in a busy office environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 10 years academic and related industry experience (engineering / architecture / construction) combined.
IRCA Certified Internal Auditor or equivalent.
CQI Practitioner preferred but not essential.
