IT Administrator

The Senior System Administrator is responsible for supervising daily operations, monitoring system performance, and ensuring the smooth functioning of software issues, as well as expertise in administering Windows/Linux hybrid environments. As a senior member of the team, they will also be actively identify opportunities for improved system performance.

• Over ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

• Deploy and maintain VMWare/ hyper-v virtualized assets across all networks.

• Develop strategies for maintaining systems up to date with current patches and updates.

• Troubleshoot issues on Windows, Linux, and virtualized systems while providing expert technical guidance to the team.

• understanding of TCP/IP networking, application layer protocols, load balancing/high availability design, and system architecture principles

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in system administration in a mid-to-large sized organization in the similar role.

• MCSE,CCNA is preferred

• Typing and communication skills in English & Arabic.

• Physically fit to carry out duties.

• Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.

• Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.
