Marine Surveyor

Local Unit & Position Description:

2-3 years of experience in the offshore or marine industry to join our team of

surveyors in the

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

As a DNV

Surveyor, you will mainly be carrying out:

• Surveys onboard mobile offshore units as well as ships in operation at shipyards and offshore locations.
• Travel and offshore work should be expected as well as attending vessels in Bahrain.
• Ensure that the work or duties performed are in accordance with the Rules, Regulations, Instructions, Guidelines and quality requirements of the organization and the instructions of the line management.
• Maintain the confidentiality of clients' business, processes, designs, developments, and documentation always.
• When applicable, to supervise the work of third parties and ensure that it is carried out as above and in an efficient and economic costsaving manner.
• Attend training courses and qualification training abroad as per global training plans.
• Exhibit customeroriented focus through promoting DNV onboard or onsite, and by acting as a technical resource for customer questions.
• To support or work as Key Account Managers (KAM) handling Business development with defined customers if required.

The position reports to the Country Manager.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in
  Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering from a Technical University
• Approximately
  2 3 years of offshore experience with Jackup rigs and/or marine industry experience:

Mobile offshore experience:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Selfdriven and highly engaged professional
• Quick learner and data smart and problemsolving attitude
• Thrive in a collaborative environment
• Analytical, structured and systematic
• Fluent in English & Arabic
• Availability to travel
