Job Summary


Provide training and support to the Training Center clients, and personnel on occupational health & safety and wellbeing, in a traditional classroom, blended learning, virtual classroom, or eLearning formats.


Participate in day-to-day operations of the Training Center and implement the department and company policies and procedures, deliver trainings, conduct exams, assessments/evaluations, and quality checks, helping the Training Center become a training provider of choice.


Education, Certifications and Memberships:

  • Minimum of 14 years of education.
  • NEBOSH National/International General Certificate
  • Tech IOSH membership with uptodate CPD/evidence of knowledge of current legislation
  • IOSH Train the Trainer course or Level3 in training and education

Experience:

  • Minimum of 02 years of relevant industry experience delivering trainings and accredited courses in health and safety related topics.
  • Experience of implementing OHS practices e.g., risk assessments, inspections, advisory, audits and/or consultancy, in various work environments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver internal and external trainings, as per training program, both in physical and virtual classroom environments.
  • Coach, support, mentor and guide students in accredited health and safety training courses such as IOSH and NEBOSH certificate programs, and other custom trainings.
  • Ensure active participation of trainees using latest engagement techniques, and evaluate effectiveness of training using set criteria.
  • Help audience spanning front line workers to senior managers, understand the concepts of health and safety using specific examples, and enable them to implement the concepts and industry specific OHS practices in their areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing individual and collective needs of training participants and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Help develop and improve training courses and improve delivery of training services.
  • Implement OHS practices to the Training Center activities and perform OHS inspections and audits to maintain/enhance professional skills.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to bring excellence in delivery of training services.
  • Identify and share opportunities for _Continuing Professional Development _(CPD), learn new skills, and upgrade existing ones.
  • Keep up to date with current trends in training and development areas and related technologies and methods by searching online resources and participating in industry events and seminars/webinars.
  • Establish professional network with organizations, groups, and individuals to ensure awareness of current industry developments and trends.
  • Help collect authentic data relating department's KPIs help with effective monitoring of department's performance and contribute towards achievement of objectives.
  • Participate in corrective actions identified in internal/external audits.
  • Participate in customer outreach and evaluation programmes.
  • To serve as Internal Quality Assurer or Assessor upon achievement of necessary qualification.
  • Ensure security of records in line with data protection policies and transfer information to the Lead Trainer for processing and record keeping.
  • Keeping abreast of and comply with management systems policies and procedures, and ensure compliance within the department.
