Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Planning & Scheduling Senior Manager **to join our team In this role you will get to schedule management solutions and their integration with cost, risk, reporting and change management across the delivery teams.

They will act as the focal point for the scheduling community and foster close working relationships with the regional planning leads who are managing their contracts.

They will report to and act as support to the Director of Controls & Reporting and the Operations Leads.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing schedule management solutions across the programme.
  • Responsible for maintenance and control of programme schedule baselines and alignment with clients and suppliers.
  • Being the focal point for planning and scheduling on the project.
  • Verify, monitor and report on project progress, schedule performance, and deviations from the baseline schedule.
  • Lead city wide whatif scenario planning for optimisation of schedules and mitigation of risks.
  • Communicate project status, timelines and milestones to stakeholders, including clients, project teams and management.
  • Providing support and advice to the Director of Controls & Reporting and other Operations Leads as required.
  • Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Maintaining good working relationships with project and supply chain counterparts.
  • Ensuring data flows and reporting information is assured and working efficiently though out the contract hierarchy.
  • Support and verify new schedule development as required for projects and districts.
  • Collaborate with the project teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Validate compliance with company policies and procedures related to planning and scheduling activities.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field. 8+ years of experience in planning and scheduling on major programmes.
  • MSP Practitioner or similar programme management demonstrable understanding.
  • Experience in project management methodologies and tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project or similar software. In depth understanding of Schedule Management & its relationships with other controls disciplines.
  • Software knowledge of Acumen Fuse, TiLOS, ARES PRISM, Primavera Risk Analysis or other related software. PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar project management demonstrable understanding. Chartered Project Manager or similar.
  • Experience designing processes and system solutions and upskilling people to support delivering Planning & Scheduling capabilities. Experience managing baselines through complex contract hierarchies. An excellent communicator and collaborator.

  • Proven ability to manage a large group of senior technical personnel, the ability to drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality and improvement of processes, mentoring, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
  • Must also demonstrate the ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks.
  • Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software. Must be capable of conducting focused briefings to all levels of management.
  • Ability to network across departments and key external stakeholders.
