Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our team.

you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, and to the highest quality standards.


Job role description:

  • To Follow up and ensure the Electrical work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.
  • Accurate Quantity take off for electrical services as per contract and site requirement.
  • To Follow up and ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the Electrical services and work implemented meets the specification and the client requirements.
  • Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, design and existing local authority standard.
  • Responsibility to decide on daytoday work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including Scheduling of activities, assigning task to groups or individuals, accuracy of work conducted, supplying resources, and dealing with operation issues and problems.
  • Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.
  • Material coordination and close interaction with consultants for preparation of material submittal for approvals, preparation of working drawings and as built drawings.
  • Following design check, procurement, planning, and execution of all MEP works.
  • Able to prepare Bills of materials / material delivery schedule and can handle a huge workforce as per site requirement.
  • To ensure the quality of material and workmanship to satisfy that work should be completed with given standards.
  • Proactive, ethical, confident, and poised in interactions with individuals at all levels. Detail oriented, resourceful, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Distribute the work activities to the team leaders to execute it on daily bases & to make sure that what have been done is accepted.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 7+ years of experience in Electrical engineering.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and local market suppliers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • PMP certificate is a plus.

Soft skills:

  • Arabic & English languages are a must.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and installation methods.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Technical knowledge of electrical systems.
