The opportunity

Project:

This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia.

Mace is currently bidding for this programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

The role will support the client in establishing the program automation vision. To govern standards and procedures including the overall automation strategy and project automation requirements.


The role is responsible for BIM mobilisation, monitoring and assessment to ensure project team compliance with automation strategy and standards.

You will be the focal point for data and information management issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with setting up systems to manage the information exchange process.
  • Managing the interface management between projects.
  • Reviewing and approving the automation plan and project BIM execution plan.
  • Providing input and support during the procurement process of A/E's and construction contractors. Preparing the RFP/ITT.
  • Monitoring the progress against the project scope.
  • Organising and managing BIM technical review team resources and input.
  • Managing the daytoday operation of BIM management.
  • Establishing an understanding and implementation of the existing project standards and processes and recommended tools, for development and use on the stadium development program.
  • Implementing the project's standard automation processes and procedures as applicable.
  • Developing and maintaining the client's automation documentation, template and guidance documents required to achieve the MoS BIM requirements.
  • Setting up and assisting in the CDE procurement, deployment and configuration of the platform as per the client's guidelines and standards.
  • Conducting and delivering product/software handson training for the client and key stakeholders as required.
  • Maintaining a federated model for the respective scope containing the latest model version of all projects.
  • Demonstrating leadership and core competencies at a high level of development and is an exemplary model of living the corporate values and code of ethics.
  • Assisting and recommending the client and team members on the latest technologies and their benefits on the program.
  • Responding to client and stakeholder requests effectively and sensitively.
  • Providing excellent attention to detail, validating and checking the data and reports. Recording and reports produced, providing basic commentary and analysis.
  • Working closely with the client, subconsultants and main contractors to manage the BIM progress and delivery of the BIM.
  • Providing BIM risk management and reporting within the overall project risk register.
