- Engineering, procurement, Inspection, delivery and site support for Field instruments

  • Responsible for all technical and project control for PCI/ Field Instruments project.
  • Job Description
  • Lead Field instrumentation scope of Projects.
  • Planning, scheduling and executing the scope of field instruments as defined in project scope.
  • Preparation of Project schedule.
  • Technical evaluation of vendor quotations.
  • Work out the deliverables & prepare documents list with schedule and procurement register with schedule.
  • Coordinate with Procurement department & obtain quotes for 3rd party instruments and accessories and support PM/sales team in their offer preparation.
  • Coordinate with control system team for instrumentation requirements and configuration requirements.
  • Support in preparation of instrument data sheets, specifications, drawings, procedures, ITP etc.
  • Flowmeter sizing calculations and selection.
  • Hands on experience in instrument calibration, installation, and commissioning support.
  • Working experience on DCS Systems is preferable and will be added advantage.
  • Loop checking, troubleshooting of field instrumentation and interface to Control System during commissioning.
  • Conversant with Foundation Fieldbus, HART, Digital valve positioners, Partial Stroke test.
  • Handling HART communicators, Fieldbus communicators/ FF Tablets for loop checking, Calibration and reranging of instruments.
  • Coordination and support for all site precommissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Compliance with the relevant project specifications and standards.
  • Estimation of Manpower and material requirements for the completion of delivery of instruments at site as per PO delivery date.
  • Lead a team of engineers to meet project deliverables.
  • Liaison with Project Manager, suppliers/ vendors as required.
  • Coordination with Document Controller for Control of Project documentation and QC Engineer for Inspection and quality related activities.
