Job Title **:
Welding Supervisor

  • Running the day to day activities in the weld/cladding Department.
  • Work with the leaders on planning the sequence of welding operations.
  • Understand and follow all safety requirements and procedures.
  • Ensures the planning and organization for a large team of welders.
  • Detect problems and alert × Collaborate with other departments, Internal Suppliers & Customers
  • Reporting out weekly to Operations Manager, Key Performance Indicators (Utilization, Efficiency, Productivity, Schedule Attainment throughput.
  • Oversee PWHT operations. × Responsible for SQDC Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost
  • Develop the weld department personnel to help achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Operate welding tools following highly complex specifications
  • Plan the sequence of welding operations
  • Monitor and control the welding operations
  • Control and adjust the quality of the output in line with blueprints and specifications
  • Can teach more junior welders × Detect problems and alert
  • Understand and follow all safety requirements and procedures × Supervise a small team of welders × Ensure the planning and organization for a small team of welders × Act as a referent for most complex welding activities

Experiences Requirement

  • 10 + Years' experience preferred in a similar supervisory role with a minimum of 35 years considered.
  • Comfortable and familiar with supervising 25 + welders.
  • Cladding experience essential, manual welding & an understanding of the Post Weld Heat Treatment Process.
  • Wellhead equipment knowledge.

Education and Qulification Requirment

  • Technical Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
  • CEFR CA
  • Mechanical Aptitude
