MDTS Agronomist

Purpose of MDTS is to succesfully deploy new products to the market. MDTS agronomist shares this purpose with four clear objectives to fulfull the purpose. 1) Conduct agronomic and other trials to provide evidence of VP to support and develop marketing materials for product launch 2) Drive and support business in premarketing and sales to customers of new products 3) contribute to the product development process in accolade and provide product development agronomy and market development support 4) Build the capabilities of MDTS , shared agronomy platform, customer needs identification, innovation pipeline and standard process to commercialization.

Key Accountable

Contribute to and manage the MDTS agronomy data base ( ARM system)

Support MDTS regional agronomist and regional sales with internal VP training, customer presentations,

Design and implement and report on field trials for Value Proposition determination and evidence. Prove the

Participate in the accolade process for Technical Review, Economic review, Research Plan and Resource

Understand and support the ideation process based on market needs ( pull) vs Research ( push) for product

In conjunction with Regional MDTS , contribute to the development of Business Cases by providing MI and

Requirements

Bachelor Ag Science, Soil science, Agronomy.

5-10 years practicing agronomy, extensive exposure to product development processes.

Skills

Advance working knowledge in soil fertility, crop nutrition and soil nutrients management.

Proven expertise in a scientific discipline, preferably in soil science, chemistry, demonstrated through a doctoral degree and/or the publication of relevant

scientific papers.

Proven expertise in statistical analysis and using the right methods and software.

Excellent laboratory experience.

Excellent in development and adaptation of chemical analysis method.

Proficient in written and spoken English.

Willingness to improve and learn new knowledge and skills.

Willingness to do field work.

High capability to learn and develop the others employers.

Organize and carry-out fertilizer research experiments either in-house or in cooperation with outside organizations with the main following objectives:

1. Development of new fertilizers grades.

2. Development of new method of SABIC fertilizer application.

3. Improvement of SABIC fertilizer products.

4. Development of fertilizer programs.

Competencies

Agronomy competencies with trial / experiment design/execution/anaysis/reporting/training/marketing. ,

Collaboration in ongoing research projects as well as other research work concentrating on:

Integrated soil-plant management, Soil fertility and nutrient supply, Fertilizers and Fertilization efficiency, the sustainability and the environmental issue.

Work closely with T&I researchers in developing new fertilizer products

Able to perform closely with people from the fertilizer business to expand the product portfolio.
