Primary Objective
To train students for employment by developing skills in those areas in which the instructor is qualified to teach.

Job Summary
Responsible for conducting coding and billing training programs for billing and coding. Creates presentations, and develops learning materials and handbooks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead training sessions on current billing and coding information in the medical field.
  • Develop curriculum and training handbook.
  • Create presentations.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to assess comprehension of training efforts.
  • Review and respond to coding questions.
  • Research updated coding information.
  • Conduct coding reviews and training programs to assure coding quality.
  • Ensure billed service is being accurately coded.
  • Perform random chart audits.
  • Hold regular meetings to communicate new findings.
  • Perform analysis of benchmarking profiles.
  • Provide continual coding and payer updates.
  • Maintain knowledge of Australian coding classifications System and Saudi Billing System of diagnoses and procedures.
  • Identify elements of a medical record's structure and content and code abstracting.
  • Convert handwritten medical charts to code.
  • Investigation and resolving coding related issues
  • Accurate and timely completion of patient record coding.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Saudi national participating in the Tamheer Program.
  • Prior experience or educational background in medical coding is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using coding software and computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
