Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with any test automation tools and frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Selenide, and Appium.
  • Understanding of any unit testing frameworks - Jasmine, Mocha, Jest, TestNg.
  • Any API testing tools like - RestSharp, RestAssured, and Postman.
  • Understanding of any Behavior-Driven Development tools like SpecFlow or Cucumber.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in fintech or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering aculture of excellence in testing practices. Roll up your sleeves to ensure quality in our startup environment.
  • Test Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies to ensure the quality of our fintech products.
  • Test Planning: Collaborate with product managers and developers to define test plans, including test scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Test Execution: Oversee test case design, execution, and defect tracking to ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Automation: Drive test automation efforts and identify opportunities for test script automation.
  • Use automated testing frameworks such as Cypress and Cucumber.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve QA processes and standards to Enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with product development goals.
  • Hiring Involvement: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process to attract top QA talent as we grow.
