The
Head of Social Media will be responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined social media strategy and plan, in a manner that supports marketing and customer support initiatives, while increasing brand equity and online awareness on all Social Media platforms.

This position is responsible for evaluating, planning, organizing, managing, and contributing to all social media channels, to achieve corporate objectives while ensuring a consistent marketing message and strengthening our position in the market.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the Social Media strategy, development, communication, and activation of all social media pages
  • Plan and own the yearly social media content calendar
  • Work alongside the Marketing and Brand teams to generate new ideas, activations, and promotions for social content in line with content calendar and required KPI metrics
  • Work alongside Digital Marketing team for promoted social media campaigns
  • Responsible for overlooking social media customer engagement and community management and moderation, working alongside Customer Support team for immediate ticketing and resolution of customer problems, maintaining a satisfied follower base and positive sentiment on social media channels
  • Weekly reporting on social media engagements within the community
  • Relay customer feedback insights gained from online conversations within the community

Requirements:

Social Media Skills: Must have great interest in the different social media platforms, always ahead of the fast-changing nature of social media dynamics, trends, and local relevance. Knowledge of social media posting, listening, and monitoring tools is a must

Communication Skills: Owner of brand voice across all social media communication. Eloquent and articulate in Arabic and English, in both verbal and written exchanges; strong capability of the Saudi dialect

Customer Care Skills: Able to analyze situations, manage customer expectations, and foresee problems through active listening. Must have/gain knowledge of ticketing systems to quickly solve customers' problems

Research: Continuous research on customer behavior, unmet needs, local/global market and communication trends, as well as updated knowledge of the competitive landscape

Analytical Skills: Capable of gathering, monitoring, analyzing and reporting social media data to share learnings and optimize strategy & content on all Social Media platforms

Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years working as a Social Media Manager or similar

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
