Accountable for the management of the design development from concept through to detailed design for a mixed use development

Lead the design consultants and act as the main point of interface for the completeness of the design and ensuring the design consultants design in accordance with their contracts

Ensure that critical dates are met on time, within agreed cost & to technical requirement Develop and maintain the program design teamwork to ensure the completion of design projects in line with key dates

Ensure design is in compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations and requirements of local authority having jurisdiction.

Lead the design process to ensure that it is compatible with its urban environment.

Lead the design aspects of tender process during the contract period. Evaluation of tenders, prepare tender reports and recommendations, and selection of designer contractors.

Coordinate design review activities across the entire program of works particularly global interface points

Ensure design issues are raised, addressed and closed out in a timely fashion

Identify opportunities for optimising design and drive value management efforts

Monitor progress of design delivery, identify areas for improvement, and take action to resolve outstanding issues.

Maintaining a clear picture of out-turn cost and advise accordingly. Engage regularly with he cost consultant to review costs.

Lead on technical support to the construction management team during construction.

Accountable for the multi-disciplinary coordination of the overall program production and deliverables of a fully coordinated program documentations.

Collaborate closely with other teams and stakeholders to resolve problematic issues

Identify and share lessons learned across all packages

Lead on Stakeholder Manager to identify and share stakeholder requirements

Support quality reviews of the design process

Perform all other position related duties as requested.
