Our client is backed by three major investors in Saudi Arabia and operates a stateoftheart facility specializing in sand mold casting and openmold forging. With a focus on quality and efficiency the company aims to produce 60000 tons per year catering primarily to local and international clients in the oil and gas sector as well as other industries. As part of its services the company also supports the marine and engine industries with its offerings.

Currently in a phase of expansion our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metallurgy Manager to join our forging and casting client.

As the Metallurgy Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all metallurgical processes ensuring the highest quality standards are met while maintaining operational efficiency.


Requirements

Manage and supervise the metallurgy department including a team of metallurgists and technicians.

Develop and implement metallurgical processes and procedures to optimize product quality and operational efficiency.

Conduct metallurgical analysis and testing to evaluate material properties such as hardness strength and corrosion resistance.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop metallurgical specifications for new products and materials.

Monitor and control the heat treatment process to achieve desired material properties.

Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations to identify and resolve metallurgical issues.

Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with metallurgical requirements and specifications.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in metallurgical technology and industry trends implementing improvements as necessary.

Train and mentor metallurgy staff providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.

Collaborate with other departments such as quality control and production planning to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery.

Profile:

Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in metallurgical operations preferably in a forging and casting environment.

Strong knowledge of metallurgical processes including heat treatment casting forging and material characterization.

Familiarity with metallurgical testing equipment and tools such as microscopes spectrometers and hardness testers.

Proficiency in interpreting technical specifications and blueprints.

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve metallurgical issues.

Strong leadership and managerial abilities with experience in leading a team.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining highquality standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
