Job Purpose Statement:


Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental specialist (QHSE Specialist) will be responsible to maintain, monitor, inspect, report, and ensure compliance with all QHSE and food safety & hygiene duties, policies and manual requirements to ensure achieving SACC objectives.


Roles & Responsibility

  • Audit and observes all QHSE related activities and policies within a location including remote sites to ensure that activities comply with the company policies, standards & applicable local laws.
  • Implementing, and improving the QHSE system, programs, and procedures and keep record for all Quality, Health, Safety and Environment related documents in accordance with ISO 9001, HACPP, ISO 22000, ISO 45001 of a location.
  • Ensures operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and in conformance to SACC policies, procedures, manuals and client requirements.
  • Overall responsible for conducting Hygiene, Food Safety & QHSE audits and inspections in all locations (including remote sites) to ensure that activities comply with the company policies, standards & applicable local laws.
  • Responsible for safety, ensuring a safe place of work, documenting and reviewing risk assessments, maintaining the accident record book, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Engage effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Ongoing review, implementation, and auditing of the management system to ensure on going compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Coordinating and conducting internal QHSE audits ensuring non
- conformances are closed out as per agreed timescales.

  • Generation and issue of safety alerts and company's monthly QHSE newsletters.
  • Reporting and analysis of nonconformities, accidents and hazardous occurrences and promoting incident prevention
  • Assist and conduct in the development and presentation of relevant QHSE training (toolbox talks and inductions)
  • Perform additional QHSE related projects as assigned.
  • Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance to the regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law.
  • Adherence to Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Dealing with data and information according to their level of classification.
  • Avoid violating the rights of any person or company protected by copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property, or similar laws or regulations.
  • Adhere to the acceptable use policy and Using SACC information and technical assets only for business purposes.
  • Obtaining the required permit from the security department or the owner of the authority in SACC before hosting visitors in the company's specific sensitive sites.
  • Reporting Cybersecurity incidents.

Communication & Working Relationships:

Internal:

  • Communications with various segment within SACC to develop and maintain QHSE and Food Safety Standards.
  • Communication with higher management for Food Safety / Quality, Health, Safety & Environment related issues.

External:

  • Communication with stakeholders related to QHSE matters

Minimum Requirements for The Job:

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science / Science / Occupational Health/ relative degree.

Years and Nature of Experience
3 years in the field of QHSE.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Able to implement the requirements QHSE function.
  • Sound knowledge of Hygiene & Food Safety & HACCP.
  • Able to set and conduct Hygiene & Food Safety and QHSE inspection and implementation.
  • Extensive understanding of quality assurance, health and safety, environmental management and security management.
  • In depth understanding of international standards and procedures and to make appropriate decisions based on this knowledge.
  • Good knowledge in reporting.
