Job Description:


WPPCO, a leading water infrastructure contracting company, is seeking a highly motivated and
dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Dawadmi. As an HSE Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our workforce, safeguarding the environment, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


Responsibilities:

Implement HSE Policies and Procedures:

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in accordance with local and international standards.
Ensure that all employees and contractors are aware of and adhere to HSE guidelines.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
Develop and implement effective measures to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment.

Training and Awareness:

Organize and conduct HSE training sessions for employees to enhance awareness and promote a culture of safety.
Ensure that all personnel are adequately trained in emergency response procedures.

Incident Investigation and Reporting:

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly and thoroughly.
Compile and submit detailed incident reports, including root cause analysis, to management.

Compliance and Auditing:

Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable HSE laws, regulations, and standards.
Conduct regular HSE audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Emergency Response Planning:

Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
Coordinate and participate in emergency drills to ensure readiness for potential incidents.

Environmental Management:

Implement measures to minimize the environmental impact of operations.
Monitor and report on environmental performance, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Safety Inspections:

Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace and equipment.
Collaborate with relevant departments to address and rectify any identified safety concerns.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of HSE-related activities, incidents, and training.
Prepare and submit reports to management as required.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HSE Officer in the construction or water infrastructure industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH) is preferred.

From ریال3,500.00 per month
