Role Summary:

  • Knowledge of welding processes Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent diploma. 5year experience. Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications.

Welder certification required:
SMAK, MIG & TIG.

- **Essential Responsibilities:

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications.
  • Train on different processes/operations to produce or repair Diamond Cutter Bits. These processes include, but are not limited to, machining, welding, plotting, cleanup, quality inspection, painting, furnacing, repair, pricing, and bit shopping preparation.
  • Learns to setsup and operate machines for production or bit repair according to bit specifications and bill of materials.
  • Becomes familiar with the company's Total Quality Management process, Self-Directed Team process and Safety process.
  • Ability to comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, routers, bills of materials, manufacturing procedures manual, basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying, fractions).
  • Ability to read and perform functions to the product specifications.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Knowledge of welding processes
  • Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment, i.e., callipers, micrometres, etc.
  • Welder certification required: SMAW, MIG & TIG
  • Ability to use hand tools like Grinders, Hammers, chisel, etc.
  • Must be able to communicate in English. Arabic is a plus.
  • Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.
