About Our Client

My client, a public sector organization is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cybersecurity DFIR to join their team.

Job Description

  • Conduct digital forensic investigations on various types of digital devices and systems.
  • Analyze and interpret digital evidence to identify the root cause of security incidents.
  • Preserve, collect, and analyze electronic data in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Lead incident response efforts to promptly detect, contain, and eradicate cybersecurity threats.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
  • Assess the organization's security posture and recommend enhancements to strengthen resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to digital forensics and incident response.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on digital forensics and incident response.
  • Professional certifications such as GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
  • Proficiency in digital forensic tools and techniques, including evidence collection, preservation, and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
