DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES About the role**The Technical Consultant is a critical role at Exclusive Networks and covers both Post

  • Sales implementation and Professional Services projects as well as presales activities.


The Technical Consultant is responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customers business issues and objectives, completing technical installation and Professional Services projects as well as channel partner training and enablement.


As a Technical Consultant - F5, you will:

  • Take ownership for the in-full and on-time delivery of technical, implementation and Professional Services projects.
  • Work with partners and customers to create clear and complete Statements of Work.
  • Manage the partner and customer to ensure they complete prerequisites, dependencies and passive works in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records for all activities, projects and opportunities.
  • Provide timely and complete reporting as required.
  • Maintain, accurate and full completion of technical designs and all related documentation.
  • Provide Knowledge transfer to end
- users.

  • Engage in and support the EXN and Partner sales teams activities to exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate and contribute to the sales process by taking ownership of all technical elements such as needs analysis and technical scoping, solution design and recommendations, building use cases, running demonstrations and Proof of Concept projects and product capability assessment and validations.
  • Building and owning relationships with decision makers, influencers and stakeholders.
  • Assist and support in the presentation of solution value propositions to customers and partners.
  • Build longterm business relationships and become a trusted advisor to identify opportunities and upsell and expand the Exclusive Networks F
  • Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge of F5 to be considered a Subject Matter Expert within the customer and partner communities.
  • Leverage and maximize positive reseller partner and customer relationships to increase sales performance.
  • Create and deliver technical product presentations and/or training sessions to channel partners and customers remotely or at customer locations/Exclusive Networks facilities.
  • Assist technical colleagues across the region with knowledge transfer and project assistance as required.

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of one or more of the following areas:
  • Security & Networking
  • Firewalling, NGFW
  • Web Application Firewalling (WAF)
  • ATP, SSL-VPN, SD-WAN
  • DNS, DHCP
  • Load balancers
  • IPAM
  • F5 solutions (with relevant certifications)
  • Ability to conduct motivating and informative seminars, technical training and knowledge sharing within the partner and end user community to increase Exclusive Networks revenues within the region.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels of a customer organization.
  • Thorough understanding of technical sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and handle all technical elements of the sale.
  • Very strong knowledge of experience in delivering technical implementation projects.
  • Flexible, dependable, selfstarter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to travel within the Middle East region.
  • Arabic speaker is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE About you**
The ideal Technical Consultant F5
will have:
  • Will have a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or similar.
  • 5+ years prior reseller or distribution experience in a hightech sales environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Cyber Security trends, issues, markets and vendors.
  • F5 certifications together with experience and accreditations relating to pre and post sales activities.
  • Demonstrable experience in F5 implementation projects
