Die Position

The Finance Manager leads and oversees the Finance function and team for the assigned affiliate in the assigned division. Enables a network of leaders to, directly or indirectly, influence others to achieve results in a complex environment. Responsible for coaching, development, and engagement of large teams. Develops the vision, strategy, strategic goals, and other key performance metrics for affiliate finance and ensures the development and execution of accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, strategic planning, and analysis in order to achieve affiliate business, financial and operational goals. The role ensures the affiliate finance team develops and maintains a complete understanding of all critical business issues across the affiliate. Drives innovation, execution, and process improvement across the affiliate finance team.

Your Responsibilities

Leads and oversees the Finance (Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, Collections), Procurement, and Supply Chain functions and teams in the affiliate, and Manage internal and external financial audits
Provides leadership and direction to the team, recruit and develop team members, collaborate with all affiliate Chapters, ensuring alignment between business and financial strategies and objectives
Develop the vision, strategic goals and other key performance metrics for the relevant functions and teams
Ensure the development and execution of accurate and timely financial reporting, strategic planning and analysis, procurement KPIs, and Supply Chain operations in order to achieve affiliate business, financial and operational goals
Drives innovation, execution, and process improvement across the affiliate Finance team, ensuring adequate record-keeping and a sound Internal control environment
Member of the Leadership Enabling Team, LET (Executive Committee:
Advise the General Manager and the LET in the evaluation of new business opportunities, assessing the resources relevant to execute them. Support affiliate projects and initiatives, acting as a change agent and engaging in seeking and sharing best practices within the affiliate, as well as amongst the regional and global finance communities
Manage financial accounting and reporting systems and processes to comply with accounting standards (IFRS, statutory, local taxation policy) and global reporting requirements. Establish and maintain robust financial systems, processes, and controls. Coordinates internal and external financial audits (including internal Group Audits of the affiliate)
Provides and interprets management information to offer a view on performance in the context of the business strategy. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to support the short and long-term business plans. Balances resource allocation and advise on implications of proposed business activities
Optimise and manage the affiliate`s assets and liabilities structure. Ensure the correct cash flow management of the company, including the supervision of credit management activitie
Supervise the procurement strategy in line with the global, local, and internal regulations and guidelines. Maximize the benefits for the internal and external stakeholders, optimizing the quality, competitiveness, and value-add of the acquired goods and services. Supervise the planning and execution of all internal and external events of the affiliate, ensuring compliance- notably - with the Symphony guidelines
In partnership with the Global Tax Team - the affiliate's tax strategy - including tax cases, tax audits, tax reporting, etc. - complying with the fiscal guidelines established by local and international tax laws and regulations

Who You Are

You hold a University degree in Economics, Business Administration, and/or Finance (Accounting, Engineering also accepted). You built knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
You built a broad track record of experience in Finance in multinational companies, with previous experience in a similar position and/or relevant Roche Pharma experience
You built experience in people management (including leading leaders), are able to inspire, manage and drive change
You built advanced leadership and influential skills, are able to manage and drive change,
You are a logical and analytical thinker, with excellent organisational and project management skills
You bring a customer-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, balancing risks and rewards, seeking continuous improvement
You bring strategic agility to rapidly develop flexible scenarios and solutions
You are able to communicate clearly and accurately in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
