Health and Safety Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of project safety, including planning, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Develop high level health and safety plans around key events and activities.
  • Monitor health and safety activities around events and set strategies around crowd management.
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate safety protocols into project plans and schedules.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Provide safety training and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
  • Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to local and international safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with event management teams to ensure safety at project events and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management with a focus on HSE and events.
  • Certification in ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of event management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
