We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team.

As a Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, or designers.

Your precision and expertise in using computer-aided design (CAD) software will contribute to the efficient and accurate representation of design concepts and construction details.


Responsibilities:

  • Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and sketches to understand project requirements.
  • Create detailed and precise technical drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software and tools.
  • Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure that drawings align with project objectives and specifications.
  • Interpret and translate rough sketches, verbal instructions, and concepts into comprehensive and detailed drawings.
  • Ensure that drawings comply with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to drafting standards.
  • Maintain and organize drawing files, both electronic and hard copies, ensuring easy retrieval and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to address any design or drawingrelated issues.
  • Stay updated on the latest CAD software advancements and techniques, incorporating them into your workflow to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Assist in coordinating with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective collaboration and communication regarding drawing requirements.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or certification in drafting, CAD technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) to create technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and dimensioning.
  • Solid understanding of architectural and engineering principles and construction techniques.
  • Familiarity with codes, regulations, and standards relevant to the industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of drafting techniques, symbols, and notation systems.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to interpret and visualize complex design concepts.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling software and visualization tools is a plus.
